Specific objectives of the project: 'Introducing a multi-sectoral approach in the system of basic education in secondary education, by applying knowledge from all disciplines in the acquisition of skills for dealing with life situations'.
Specific objective 1
Building coping skills in life situations of lower secondary students (11-15 years) in two Bulgarian schools through a multisectoral approach of project-based situational learning.
Specific objective 2
Training of pedagogical specialists through the exchange of experience and good practices in cooperation with partners in Greece, Czech Republic and UK, to acquire skills for drawing cross-curricular links, the ability to use innovative approaches and the application of a multisectoral approach to setting tasks part of project-oriented and situational learning.
Specific objective 3
Development of a didactic manual, a methodology for the evaluation of results and a methodology for data collection and analysis in the process of piloting the multisectoral approach in two Bulgarian schools.
Specific objective 4
Building capacity for the implementation of the multisectoral approach in the Bulgarian education system by informing the general public, the NGO sector and the relevant government authorities in the form of a report with analysis and recommendations, including the results of the pilot implementation of the approach in two Bulgarian schools, and a website.
For the successful implementation of the specific project objectives described above, the following will be developed:
- Rules for the development of a unified didactic guide for the implementation of a multisectoral approach with transnational applicability in the educational process of the countries participating in the project proposal;
- A didactic guide (handbook) for the implementation of a multisectoral approach in the system of lower secondary education for three school years
- A methodological guide for initial intermediate and follow-up evaluation;
- Database with sample problems and case studies.
