The project will be implemented through the teamwork of five partner organisations:

  • FSN Association, z.s. Czech Republic;
  • ACTON EXCHANGE LTD United Kingdom;
  • Primary School "St. Cyril and Methodius", s. Chavdar;
  • St. Cyril and Methodius Primary School, village of. Trud.

The project idea is aimed at students in the basic stage of lower secondary education aged 11-15 years and pedagogical specialists who teach subjects included in the core curriculum.

The basis of the present project proposal is to develop and introduce in the system of lower secondary education in Bulgaria an innovative multi-sectoral approach, which will unite through the setting of project tasks, the knowledge of students from all disciplines studied in the curriculum, leading to the acquisition of practical skills for dealing with life situations. The project idea is feasible in any Bulgarian and European school, without financial and operational burden for schools. The planned period for piloting the multisectoral approach in two Bulgarian schools is three school years. In order to identify the needs of the target groups and in the formulation of the project idea, studies, comparative analyses and consultations with experts in the field of Bulgarian and European education covering practices in Bulgaria and in the partner countries have been carried out. Following research, the following needs were identified which the implementation of the project idea will impact.
